The Cape Town Branch of Gift of the Givers has launched it’s OPERATION WARM HEARTS Campaign in partnership with Cape Argus, BP and Unilever, at a primary school in Kraaifontein on 22 June 2011. Thousands gathered for the launch which was also attended by Premier Helen Zille, who handed out blankets and parcels to the first 5 elderly under priviledged beneficiaries. The distribution was a huge success and will be the first of many, during the harsh cold winter months.
