Swaziland

During the month of February 2010, Gift of the Givers responded to a poverty stricken Swaziland. With 70% of the population living below the poverty line, unemployment running at 40% and more than 1/3 of the population living off donated food, our aid was much needed and greatly appreciated.

Gift of the Givers dispatched a team to distribute the following items:

Food Parcels
Sweet Packs
Fruit
Water
School Uniforms
Shoes
Clothing
Gas Burners
Stationery Packs
Toys
Mealie Meal
Rice
Blankets
Burners
Hygiene Packs
Wheel Chairs

These were distributed to Valley Charity, St Andrews School, Mpandesane, Mpaka, Maphalaleni, Malanh, Hospice, Ezulweni Mosque, SOS Children's Village, Association of Women with Disabilities.
