Extending our Mandela Day commemorations, women and children from Diepkloof, Soweto, received much-welcomed food parcels and water from Gift of the Givers, when it made a special donation with the Minister of Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Ms Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya on July 20, 2009. The initiative was supported by Soweto-based Sinethemba Community Project, who provides two meals a day to orphaned and vulnerable children in the area.
