|
Torrential rains fell in January 2000, causing devastating floods in mid-February across most of southern Africa. Many homes, primarily informal settlements, had been severely affected leaving scores of people homeless and some missing. Alexandra, one of South Africa's most impoverished townships, received R100 000 worth of relief supplies as well as a huge consignment of mattresses and blankets from GOTG. View Photo Gallery
