| Floods in Cape Town July 2008 |

On 10 July 2008, Gift of the Givers responded to the residents of the following areas affected by floods in Cape Town: Kaya Mandi, Hermanus, Gugulethu Cross Roads and Barcelona, Lusaka Boys Town, Porterville, Veldrif, Vredenberg, Worcester and Phillipi. The wet weather that the Cape Peninsula experiences is severe and directly affects the people of Cape Town leaving many of them, in low-lying informal settlements, displaced. GOTG together with the Department of Social Development and the Ysterplaat Airforce Base distributed:
