The Gift of the Givers International Kanazawa Cup 2010 culminated on a high note for all the skisa teams in the cadettes,juniors senior and veterans categories on Saturday1st of May 2010 with skisa making a clean sweep winning all the team kumite(fighting) titles . The gauteng visitors KWF team and SKISA TEAM SA battle of the" best of the best " in the mens team kumite final provided the highlight of the day with a tense and exciting final resulting in SKISA team winning convincingly 3-1 ensuring that captain marvellous sensei Brando lifted the Gift of the Givers Kanazawa cup 2010 once again SKISA TEAM SA who were victorius at the international event have won the International Kanazawa cup for a record 9 times consecutively since its inception in 2001. This victory was extremely special because it was achieved by our SKISA team SA in the presence of world karate legend GRANDMASTER KANAZAWA (in whose honor and name the event is annually hosted in the city of Durban ). SKISA Tournament Director, Kyoshi Sonny Pillay, said this was the biggest Kanazawa Cup ever with 810 participants from throughout the republic and 10 countries from abroad. View Photo Gallery
