Due to the ongoing prevalence
of undernourishment / malnourishment amongst orphans and the elderly as well as
expectant mothers, Gift of the Givers distributes fortified Likuni Phala (a
Corn/ Soya Blend porridge) and Sibusiso Ready Food Supplement (a high
energy protein supplement) to a number of clinics, orphanages, institutions as
well as individuals to help them boost their immune system with an
understanding that healthy people contribute to the development of any
country. Some of the nutritional
supplements are also distributed in partnership with the Ministry of Health to
patients in various government hospitals, prisons and clinics.
