Some of the challenges faced by the Lilitha Educare Centre are limited resources, a tiny classroom with unbearable heat and many hungry children who come to the centre without food. Despite all these negativities, the staff create a nurturing environment and encompass the learners with love and affection. Gift of the Givers provided the children with sweet packs and their parents with food parcels after being approached by the centre for assistance on their Graduation day. Gawa and Allauddin Sayed were mesmerized and enthralled by the children, aged between 1 and 6 years old, who were dancing and singing around them from pure excitement. View Photo Gallery
