Innibos Arts Festival 1-5 July 2009

The 6th annual Innibos Arts Festival stretches over 5 days and is jampacked with a variety of entertainment and dozens of food and art stalls. With approximately 400 exhibitors, there's no wonder this festival attracts more than 100 000 visitors.

Gift of the Givers, in partnership with Jacaranda 94.2 fm, set up a collection point at the festival. With the amazing response from the festival-goers, GOTG was able to distribute 2000 blankets, 200 food parcels and 1000 bags of potatoes to nearby communities. The Hazey View community and Matassin informal settlement joyfully received the items from singer, songwriter and actor, Steve Hofmeyer, who lent a helping hand with the distribution.
