The community of Nkomo Village, His Royalty Hosi A. K Mahumani, Minister R. Baloyi, Royal family of Maputo and other royalties from neighbouring countries as well as visitors from Canada came together at Giyani Village, on the boarder of Maputo, to celebrate the diversity of cultures in commemoration of Heritage Day. Gift of the Givers was involved in the celebration and was shown much appreciation by the 2500 adults and children who received a variety of items on the day. King A. K. Mahumani also thanked Gift of the Givers by making special mention of the generous contribution in his speech.

SABC Radio, TV programme La familia, Soweton, Northern Herold, and Giyani News were present, making sure to capture the joy and festivity.
