Dr Victor Ramathesele, talk show host on the SABC 2 programme Bonitas House Calls, will be tracing the origin of Gift of the Givers 18 years ago; its first project, the response to the civil war in Bosnia and the development of the world's first containerised mobile hospital; the growth as a disaster response agency and the diversification into 24 categories of projects. The philosophy, relationships across race, religion and culture, the ethos are all discussed. The programme will be broadcast on SABC 2 on Saturday, 23 October 2010, at 9am.
