Entepreneurship - Newton High School
Newton High Pre-Vocational Education school is a school for learners with special needs. They offer learners opportunities to develop various trade skills by exploring their creative and technical abilities. In so doing these learners experience a new found self-worth and confidence to enter the labour market.

This school approached GOTG to help strengthen their hairdressing department. To respond to their call, GOTG donated the following equipment:
  • Hair Dryers
  • Cutting Capes and Aprons
  • Scissors (Cutting and Thinning)
  • Combs and Brushes
  • Tint Bowls and Tint Brushes
  • Rollers and Perm Rods
  • Chemical Products (Relaxer, Perm Lotion, Tints)
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Disposables (Cotton Wool and End Papers)
The hairdressing training department offers various hair treatment to the public as a means to generate income and make it self sufficient whilst also affording their learners maximum opportunity to apply their technical skills. The handover took place on 15 October 2010.
