Beit Emanuel Progressive Synagogue in Parktown, Johannesburg donates R8000 to Gift of the Givers after a public lecture given by Dr Sooliman at the synagogue. The event took place on the eve of the Jewish festival of Shavuot. This in origin is a spring harvest festival, which later became linked to the event of the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. 18 May 2010.
