Deputy Minister of Human Settlements visits Khayelitsha today

Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Ms Zou Kota-Fredericks, will join Gift of the Givers on a site visit at Khayelitsha today at 11.30am. Thereafter, she will address victims of the fire at the Twusong Sports Centre, near Khayelitsha Hospital.

Gift of the Givers continues to roll out it's R2 million aid package for fire victims. A huge quantity of the aid items will be present at the hall for distribution today. These include blankets, new clothing, school shoes, stationery packs, food parcels, bread, bottled water, fruit, disinfectants, Genesis (our preferred high energy cereal) and sweet packs. School uniforms, mattresses and building material to follow. Gift of the Givers will be providing a hot nutritious meal to the affected victims after the event.
