Careline celebrates it's 14th anniversary with a High Tea
Saturday afternoon, 21st May 2011, treated the public to a presentation on the milestones and growth of the counselling services, a personal account of how being a volunteer counsellor has impacted not only on the life of the individual counsellor but to her family and other relationships as well.  Two sketches were acted out by the “Amazing Ladies” of Gauteng.  The sketches portrayed real life scenarios in a funny way but with very powerful messages that struck deep at our changing values.  There were lots of lucky draws and prizes to be won and finally everyone was able to indulge in the wide array of treats that were laid out.  

The afternoon proved to be a resounding success with attendance far outnumbering what we anticipated and prepared for.  Guests said that they enjoyed the 'edutainment' that served as a stress reliever, the socializing and the treats.  They also expressed their amazement about the the diverse support programmes Gift of the Givers Careline had to offer in addition to its counselling.
